MINCOQUA - A public hearing has been scheduled by the Oneida County Planning and Development Committee for July 24th to hear complaints that Kirk Bangstad, the owner of Minocqua Brewing Company has continued to violate the conditions of his conditional use permit connected to the outdoor beer garden at the brewing company. At the last hearing in June, the committee suspended Bangstad’s CUP for 90 days to allow him time to adhere to the permit. In the meantime, he wasn’t allowed to conduct outdoor business, which he continued to do. It is hoped that the meeting scheduled for the 24th won’t be a repeat of meeting on June 20th, during which Bangstad was so disruptive that a Sheriff’s deputy was asked to remove him, and he finally left on his own, shouting expletives accusing the county of sabotaging his business.
