BOULDER JUNCTION - The Boulder Junction Community Foundation has awarded a record $33,589 in grants this spring, the largest single grant cycle in its history. Eight local projects will benefit from the funding, thanks to community donations. Major grants include nearly $11,200 for new fire department radio headsets, town centennial plaques and park improvements, plus funding for the Marty the Muskie restoration, youth education programs, WinMan Trails and new equipment for the public library. Foundation leaders say the milestone reflects the generosity and community spirit of Boulder Junction donors.
