IRONWOOD — Gas prices in the state of Michigan are down 14 cents from last week dropping below $4 on average for the first time since April, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA). On average, Michigan drivers are now paying $3.96 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel, down 25 cents from this time last month but up 80 cents from this time last year. All local area prices now under $4 a gallon Ironwood and Hurley prices at $3.65 a gallon this morning. Around the region Watersmeet at $3.98, Bergland $3.94, Ontonagon $3.93, Mercer $3.76, Melen $3.65, Minocqua $3.51, Ashland $3.43, The lowest prices we could find were in both Park Falls and Glidden at $3.42 a gallon this morning.
