VILAS COUNTY - The Vilas County Board of Supervisors approving a resolution to create the position of assistant finance director. Until now, the office of finance director was a one-person operation. The board also voted on the compensation package for the assistant’s position if they are hired before the end of 2025, which would be just over $51,000, and a full, annual yearly salary and benefits package of just over $104,000. The next step will be posting the position both internally and externally over the next few weeks.
