VILAS COUNTY - Habitat for Humanity held a groundbreaking event in Sayner on Monday celebrating the organization’s 29th home build. Habitat of the Northwoods has been building homes in the area since 1997, and Justin and Regina Grant and family are very pleased to be the recipients of the new build. Executive Director of Habitat Northwoods, Dave Havel said working with Habitat for Humanity is a continual joy, helping put together families in need with new, affordable homes. Justin Grant says the family is excited to move into their new home, since previously they were living on Highway M off a bike path, which was noisy and busy, and their new home is quiet and secluded, and will be great place to raise their family.
