IRONWOOD – The name of the man involved in a Sunday police chase in Gogebic County has been released.    31-year-old Matthew Keski was arraigned yesterday in Gogebic County District Court and is being charged with eight felonies.  His charges include one count of unlawfully driving away, resisting arrest, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to commit a felony, malicious destruction of police property, fleeing a police officer, obstruction and destruction of property $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.  Charges stem from an incident where police say Keski stole a vehicle from the gas pump at a convenience store in Bessemer, rammed a police car, crash into a vehicle at the intersection of Luxmore and Cloverland Drive in Ironwood fled on foot was confronted by several civilians, and attempted to steal a second vehicle from a second convenience store.   Keski was tased by police and taken into custody.  Keski’s bond is set at $200,000 and is awaiting a court-appointed attorney.
