HOUGHTON COUNTY - A Wisconsin man was arrested in Calumet Township after stealing a vehicle Monday.  According to a press release from the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 12:35 p.m., deputies received a complaint from the Circle K gas station of a man attempting to steal two separate vehicles.  Officials say the man fled the gas station before law enforcement’s arrival. Later in the afternoon, a Ford pickup was reported stolen from Calumet Township. Deputies, along with assisting agencies, were unable to locate the truck in the area.  At 10 a.m. yesterday deputies say they located the truck and the man during a traffic stop in Calumet Township, specifically the Florida location, after receiving a tip from a local off-duty officer.  The subject is lodged at the Houghton County Jail.
