N. WISCONSIN - With a large number of cicadas in Wisconsin this year, the state’s Department of Natural Resources is reminding people that it is illegal to collect the bugs from state parks.  The DNR said it has heard multiple reports of people harvesting cicadas.  State law prohibits taking animals out of state parks, and this includes cicadas, according to the DNR.  The department is warning that wardens can enforce violations of this law.
