VILAS COUNTY - A Vilas County woman is facing felony charges and a possible prison sentence of 20 years or more after a May 5 crash in Oneida County that killed one person and seriously injured another. Authorities say 66-year-old Linda Boebel crossed the center line and hit another SUV head-on. Prosecutors allege she was impaired, though her attorney says her blood alcohol level was below the legal limit and additional test results are pending. Boebel is due back in court on July 22.
