HURLEY - Hurley fire responded to a structure fire at 400 Popular Street in the city of Hurley just before 4:30pm Saturday. Upon arrival, flames were showing on the rear of the residence in the attic area with heavy smoke. The fire was determined to be caused by a malfunction of an electrical device. There were no injuries. Ironwood Public Safety, Ironwood Township Fire, Hurley Police, Hurley Department of Public Works, Iron County Sheriff's Department and Beacon Ambulance were called to the scene.
