IRONWOOD - Gas prices in Michigan have dropped to their lowest since April.  The average is now $4.01 per gallon of regular unleaded gas, a decrease of 18 cents since last week and a decrease of 73 cents since last month.  The dropping prices come as the U.S. and Iran have attempted to reach an agreement to solidify a permanent end to the war, which has caused spiking fuel prices globally. Those negotiations are expected to continue this week.  Ironwood prices start the week slightly above the national average at $4.03 a gallon while Hurley and Mercer prices are lower at $3.87.  Around the region Ontonagon and Ewen prices at $3.99, Watersmeet prices at $4.15, Ashland $3.73, Woodruff $3.78, Mellen $3.85, Glidden and Park Falls prices the lowest we could find in the region at $3.60 a gallon this morning.
