N. WISCONSIN – For days we been hearing about extreme weather was going to hit the area on Wednesday, and for the most part for us nothing happened.  The strongest storms tracked south of the Gogebic Range affecting Western, Central and Southern Wisconsin.  More than 98,000 customers lost power yesterday after two strong bands of severe weather moved across Wisconsin.  Most outages were concentrated in the southern part of the state, with Sauk, Dane counties among the hardest hit.  No reports of significant storm-related damage in Northern Wisconsin or in the U.P.  Rain showers later today with average high temperatures and lower humidity heading into the weekend with below average high temperatures expected for much of next week.
