IRONWOOD - The Gogebic Community College Board of Trustees learned how a $7,000 Xcel Energy Foundation Grant supported student science, math, and technology research projects during the 2025-26 school year through a presentation by instructors on the students' behalf. The grant-funded studies marked the fifth consecutive year GCC has received the award. Faculty said the projects helped students gain research experience, overcome fears, and develop technical skills. Participants also created laboratory activities to share their findings and support learning opportunities for other students.
