FIFIELD - A group in Fifield in Northern Price County are doing what they can to raise money for new playground equipment at Movrich Park. The group called the Fifield Playground Committee is dedicated to replacing the current playground equipment at the park. The current playground with structures at the park has been taped off to prevent anyone from playing due to rot making the equipment unsafe to use and the town says there isn’t enough money in their coffers to replace them.   The committee has a goal of raising $50,000 and is accepting donations at the Fifield treasures office.  The committee also applied for a grant from the DNR to help with funding with $18,000 of the total cost goes to the labor for installation. So far, they have raised around $15,000 and need to raise $25,000 more to start planning the design.
