IRONWOOD – Air Quality Alerts continue through today for the region.

Air quality advisories for the U.P. of Michigan and a few counties in Wisconsin have now been updated to alerts through this evening. Most of the U.P. and Ashland and Vilas Counties in Wisconsin are experiencing unhealthy to moderate air quality. For more information on air quality for Michigan, go to airnow.gov. and for Wisconsin go to airquality.wi.gov It is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory diseases such as asthma.
