ASHLAND – Multiple Ashland families are without homes after a fire ripped through a trailer park.  According to the Ashland Fire Department, it happened around 5 p.m. last night on 8th Street West in Ashland.  Fire Crews arrived to find two mobile homes on fire with flames spreading to a third.  Fire Departments from Washburn and Mason joined Ashland firefighters and kept the fire from spreading to more trailers.  Three mobile homes were destroyed with two others suffering minor heat damage.  No one was hurt, but three families were displaced.  The families are receiving help from the Salvation Army.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
