IRONWOOD - Ironwood Schools sending a letter home to parents this week regarding instances of students making threatening statements regarding the school and fellow students.  The school says in the letter that this unacceptable behavior is being taken very seriously by the school district and describes the school policy which includes suspension and Ironwood Public Safety involvement.  Students who are expelled or suspended also are barred from attending any other public school or online virtual school program.  The school district encourages parents to have a candid conversation with their children about the severity of their actions.
