N. WISCONSIN / U.P. - Circle K is offering discounted fuel prices ahead of the busy Memorial Day weekend.  The convenience store and gas station chain says it is giving customers an easy way to save heading into the long holiday weekend by offering a special discount of up to 40 cents off per gallon of Circle K-branded fuel.  According to the company, its Fuel Day special will be offered today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Also, customers who have signed up for Inner Circle rewards can hit the pumps early from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to receive the discount.  In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, Circle K says they have partnered with the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, donating 10% of all Fuel Day profits to the organization.  Circle K locations in Ironwood, Wakefield, Ontonagon, Ashland, Washburn and locations along the North Shore of Minnesota all participating and offering the 40 cent per gallon discount today.  The promotion comes as AAA predicts one of the busiest Memorial Day weekends for travel, forecasting more than 45 million people will be traveling over the holiday.
