WISCONSIN - Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers signed an executive order barring executive branch employees from disclosing or using any nonpublic information to profit from prediction markets.  The order cited a recent story of a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier used nonpublic information to earn $410,000 on a prediction market.  Prediction markets including Kalshi offer markets on election results and other occurrences like government actions.  Illinois, New York, Maryland and California recently took similar actions.
