Nick Niemi of Hancock placed second with 4:50, and Colin Freed of Minneapolis came in third with 4:58. In the women’s division, Kristen Monahan of Houghton won first place with her time of 6:30, while Carolyn Warren of Ironwood placed second with 7:08 and Abby Samardich of Bessemer came in third with 7:23.
