DOUGLAS COUNTY - The case for the teenager charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting at Douglas County deputies last week will remain in adult court.  The young teen identified as 13-year-old Carsen Petersen of Superior, is being charged as an adult on attempted first-degree intentional homicide after authorities say he allegedly fired a long gun at deputies who had responded to his home on reports the boy was yelling and throwing things. The judge found probable cause to keep the case in adult court.  According to the 13-year-olds dad, Carsen has had a hard life and suffers from mental health issues.  During the shooting incident, no one was hurt.  Peterson’s next hearing is June 4.
