ASHLAND - Paul Wassgren of Ashland announced that he is suspending his campaign for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District which includes most of Northern Wisconsin.  Wassgren cited the spring election results in calling on Republicans to prioritize party interests.  Wassgren serves as chairman of the Republican Party of Ashland County. He said he will support Rep. Tom Tiffany’s campaign for governor by speaking with groups across Wisconsin.
