VILAS COUNTY - A 56-year-old man charged with stabbing and killing his sister in St. Germain has pleaded not guilty in Vilas County Court yesterday.  James Johnson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide. According to court documents, around 10:30 p.m. on March 21 a woman called 911 to report finding her sister outside with multiple stab wounds. The woman said her sister’s body was cold to the touch and her feet were bound with an extension cord. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Inside the woman’s home, investigators found blood on the couch, floor and kitchen table.  A medical examiner found nearly 30 wounds to the victim’s body during the autopsy.  A clerical court appearance is set for July 15.  Johnson remains in the Vilas County Jail on $1 million bond.
