GOGEBIC COUNTY - The Superior Health Foundation concluded its Q1 Grant cycle on March 4th, announcing $299,292 in funding distributed across seven agencies serving the Upper Peninsula. In Gogebic County a $6,900 Equipment Grant will be awarded to the Lac Vieux Desert Health Center to purchase rehabilitation devices and pain management equipment in support of their new Prevention and Wellness Expansion, expanding the range of services available to community members.  The Foundation received over $500,000 in grant requests, reflecting a continued need for health-focused support across the region.
