PLOVER - An estimated crowd of 300 were on hand in Plover to see, and listen, Vice President JD Vance yesterday.  Vance emphasized the administration’s goals to return manufacturing to the US, drew upon President Trump’s State of the Union address and tried to drum up support for Republican candidates running in the mid-terms.  Vance urged the crowd to vote for representative Derrick Van Orden, who’s running for reelection, and representative Tom Tiffany, who’s running for Wisconsin Governor in the November election.  The state primary will take place August 11 with the general election taking place November 3.
