VILAS COUNTY - Two people were injured in a Vilas County crash that involved four vehicles on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 45 in the Town of Conover.  Police say a small sedan struck a truck parked on the east side of the northbound lane, then veered into oncoming traffic and struck a south bound full-size truck with attached plow, then struck another parked vehicle on the southbound shoulder.  The 36-year-old operator was transported by ambulance and then airlifted to another facility for treatment. Another driver was transported to a local hospital.  The name of the operator is being withheld at this time. The crash is still under investigation by the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office.
