LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A federal judge in Michigan has dismissed a lawsuit brought by the Department of Justice that sought to obtain access to Michigan's voter rolls, marking the latest setback to President Donald Trump's administration as it seeks voter data from a variety of states. The Department of Justice has sued at least 23 states and the District of Columbia to collect data on voters. The judge, a Trump nominee in the Western District of Michigan, issued the ruling yesterday that concluded that the laws cited by the Justice Department do not require the disclosure of the records sought.
