CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP - A multi-car pile-up on M-28 near Marquette resulted in multiple injuries and a highway shutdown.  The Chocolay Township Police and Fire crews were first called to a single-vehicle rollover accident at 1:32 p.m. Friday afternoon.  Police say traffic was backed up when they arrived. White-out conditions and poor visibility resulted in a chain reaction of accidents until police shut down M-28. Several patients were transported to UPHS Marquette and Munising Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Temporary shelters were set up for victims.  Marquette County Victim Services were called in to assist the parties involved.  No fatalities reported.
