BESSEMER - The man charged with multiple felonies in Gogebic County after police say he stole a car and led officers on a chase has been sentenced.  31-year-old Matthew Keski was sentenced in Gogebic County Circuit Court to 199 days in jail but was credited 199 days for time already served. He was also sentenced to 2 years of probation and must pay $8,341 in restitution.  Keski was sentenced for two out of the eight felonies he was originally charged with. Last month, he pled “no contest” to one count of unlawfully driving away and one count of malicious destruction of personal property valuing $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. The other six charges were dismissed.  Keski was arrested in June after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase through Bessemer and Ironwood. Police said the chase started after he stole a vehicle at a gas station, rammed a patrol car and fled before crashing into a vehicle at the intersection of Luxmore and Cloverland Drive in Ironwood. He then attempted to flee on foot. Keski was stunned by one of the officers and taken into custody.
