MERCER - The live portion of Mercer’s Winterfest starts on January 18th . The MECCA Trails grooming team has been hard at work preparing the 21K trail system for a big turnout. This year, students on the Claire d’Loon 5K are expected to show up in force as well the more experienced skiers. Those training for longer races will find a great “warmup” with Winterfest. The virtual Winterfest events, which allow skiers to ski the courses on their own schedule and turn in their best time, opened in early December and will continue through February 15, 2025.
