IRONWOOD - The state average gas price is down 7 cents from a week ago. According to AAA of Michigan, drivers are now paying an average of $3.03 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. This price is 8 cents less than this time last month but 11 cents more than this time last year. The state average now sits even with the national average.  Around Upper Michigan, the lowest average is in Dickinson County at $2.79 per gallon. The highest is in Mackinac County at $3.18 per gallon.  Ironwood prices at $2.88 per gallon as of this morning.
