ASHLAND – In information released Friday Afternoon that we first brought you on the WUPM Facebook page last week Monday December 15th US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and US Border Patrol informed the Ashland Police Department that they were in the city of Ashland to execute federal warrants for two individuals working at the Ashland Family Restaurant.  They reported they had gone to the restaurant and picked up one of the individuals on the warrant.  They left but had seen the second individual with a warrant go into the restaurant and were going back a second time to arrest him.  Agents requested an Asland Police Officer be present when they went back because the restaurant staff was very upset with them the first time they were there.  An Ashland Police sergeant accompanied them to the restaurant.  The manager was requested to open the door, and the second individual was taken into custody on the federal warrant without incident.
