IRON RIVER, Wisc. - Iron River, Wisconsin Elementary school was closed yesterday for what school officials are calling a sanitation issue.  The district issued a notice to families over Facebook.  The sanitation issue discovered Monday afternoon after staff discovered a broken pipe on the school playground.  The inside of the school was not impacted.  Students and staff are expected to return to the building today.
