IRONWOOD -  AAA of Michigan reports the state average is down 15 cents from a week ago. Drivers are now paying an average of $2.96 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas.  That price is 5 cents less than this time last month and 14 cents less than this time last year. The national average sits at $3.01 per gallon.  About half of the Counties in the U.P. are seeing gas prices below the state average including Gogebic County.  As of this morning Dickinson has the lowest gas price in the U.P. at $2.69 per gallon. The highest average is in Mackinac County at $3.26.  Ironwood Prices at $2.74 a gallon this morning.
