IRON COUNTY, MICH - Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Hematite Township.  According to a Thursday afternoon press release, deputies from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash on US 141.  A 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old female passenger, both of Horicon, Wisc.— were pronounced dead on scene.  A 15-year-old male passenger from Waupun, Wisconsin was transported by ambulance to Aspirus Iron River and later transferred to Marshfield, Wisc. for treatment of injuries sustain in the accident.  The lone occupant of the other vehicle only being identified as a 21-year-old man of Pelkie, Mich., was transported by ambulance to Aspirus Iron River for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.  Names have not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
