IRONWOOD - The Michigan average gas price has fallen 11 cents from a week ago. Drivers are now paying an average of $2.97 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas.  That price is 21 cents lower than this time last year. It also puts Michigan back below the national average, which is $3.04 per gallon.  In Upper Michigan, the lowest average in Iron County at $2.83 per gallon. The highest is still in Mackinac County at $3.38.  Ironwood prices increased over the past week to $3.17 per gallon.
