IRONWOOD – The city of Ironwood continues their fall water main flushing schedule during the overnight hours.  Flushing took place overnight for areas South of US-2 from Lake Street east to Country Club Road and South to East Ayer Street were flushed.  Tonight, areas south of Fredrick Street to the caves area and from Lake Street west to Silver Street will be flushed.   Flushing will take place in various parts of the city during the overnight hours for the rest of the week. During the flushing water customers may notice dirty water and lower than normal water pressure.  The water main flushing schedule can be found on the Ironwoodmi.gov.  Bottled water is available at Ironwood Public Safety.
