N. WISCONSIN - Nine counties across the state showed the lowest rates of unemployment on record.  According to the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), counties with record low unemployment include Ashland, and Bayfield Counties in Northern Wisconsin.  Ashland Counties Unemployment rate was recorded at 2.4 percent, Bayfield County at 2.5 percent.  Iron County has one of the highest unemployment numbers in the state at 3.5 percent.
