PARK FALLS – One man is dead after a car accident Saturday near Park Falls.  Police say at approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday on Highway 13 at Lakeshore Drive the driver of a 2020 ford F-150 was traveling south struck a 2003 Buick Lasabre that crossed the centerline and struck the Ford truck head-on.  The 56-year-old male operator of the Buick was pronounced deceased at the scene.  The 71-year-old male operator of the Ford was trapped in his vehicle and extraction equipment was used to remove him from the vehicle.  He sustained life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported by ambulance to the Marshfield Medical Center.  The crash remains under investigation.
