IRONWOOD - The state gas price average is at its lowest point in 4 years.  Prices are down13-cent drop from a week ago, the new state average sits at $2.79 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. That price is 41 cents less than this time last month and 49 cents less than this time last year. The national average still sits above the state, at $3.04 per gallon. In Michigan this marks the third consecutive drop in price since the start of October and follows a 17-cent plunge the week before last.  The lowest average gas price is in Dickinson County, at $2.76, highest average is still in Mackinac County at $3.30 per gallon.  Ironwood prices at $2.82 as of this morning.
