N. WISCONSIN – Remember the plane crash into a lake near Wausau back on September 12th that was carrying Republican candidate for Governor Tom Tiffany.  According to the National Transportation Safety Board report, the cause of that crash was pilot error.  The NTSB report released Tuesday says the pilot delayed switching fuel tanks and did not turn on the electric fuel boost pump.  The plane lost engine power before crashing into Lake Wausau.  Tiffany and the pilot Leonard Boltz suffered only minor injuries.
