HARSHAW — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) held a public involvement meeting Tuesday at the Northwoods Community Elementary School for plans for a new roundabout at the intersection of County Road K and Highway 51 intersection just south of Minocqua.  The intersection has seen many collisions over the past five years.  The roundabout project is expected to begin in early 2026. Construction for the roundabout is expected to be completed in 2027.  Right now the intersection is a 2 way stop with traffic on highway 51 not stopping.
