ONTONAGON COUNTY - A familiar landmark is missing from one of the Upper Peninsula’s most popular state parks. The iconic entrance sign to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park was stolen sometime between October 3rd and 4th. Michigan DNR officials are asking anyone who saw something suspicious, has surveillance footage, or has seen the sign since it disappeared to come forward and help bring it home. The DNR posted about the theft on social media and asked the public for help. Find more information at @michigantourism.
