N. WISCONSIN - Three Marshfield Clinic hospitals are being recognized for their commitment to saving lives and improving stroke care. The American Heart Association honored Marshfield Medical Center –Park Falls, Minocqua, and Marshfield for following proven, evidence-based guidelines. Marshfield earned Rural Stroke Silver and Stroke Gold Plus, along with additional honors for diabetes and stroke care. Minocqua and Park Falls each received Rural Stroke Bronze recognition. Studies show patients have better outcomes when care teams follow evidence-based treatment guidelines.
