ONTONAGON – Flu Season is almost here.  Aspirus Health in Ontonagon is offering flu Shots tomorrow from 9-11 a.m., then again from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The clinic will offer a second vaccination opportunity on Thursday, Oct. 29 with the same hours.  You can schedule an appointment at the Ontonagon clinic.  The 2026-2027 flu vaccines have been updated to protect against the influenza strains expected to circulate, including Influenza A (H3N2) subclade K and two B/Victoria lineage viruses.  Flu vaccination reduces the risk of infection by 40% to 60%.
