SAXON - A federal report estimates Enbridge’s August Line 5 rupture near Saxon, will cost at least $15.1 million. The rupture released 1-point-3 million gallons of natural gas liquids. The damaged section has been isolated, and Line 5 is now operating through a temporary bypass. However, cleanup, including contaminated soil removal and environmental testing continue at the site.
