UPPER MICHIGAN - A candidate running for the 38th State Senate seat is now switching races.  U.P. resident Chris Reynolds is now running as a Republican for the 108th State House District. Reynolds said he feels he will be able to reach a larger, more personal voter base with this decision.  Though he said his goal of fighting for the U.P. remains the same.  The only other candidate in the 108th State House District race is Republican Larry Johnson.  There are three candidates still in the 38th state senate district race, Democrat Kelli van Ginhoven. On the Republican side, current 108th House Representative Republican Dave Prestin and Beau LaFave.
