IRON RIVER, MI - An Iron River, Michigan man has been arrested for threatening Iron County residents and children on the internet.  According to a press release, Michigan State Troopers from the Iron Mountain Post responded to a terroristic threats complaint in Iron County Wednesday.  A 40-year-old male subject from Iron River was making threats towards Iron County residents and children via the internet, police say.  The suspect was taken into custody shortly after the investigation began. Schools were notified of the arrest prior to the beginning of the next school day.  The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment, and the threats complaint remains under investigation.
