WAKEFIELD- Multiple fire crews are on scene fighting a massive apartment building fire in downtown Wakefield this morning.  The call to fire crews came in during the overnight in air temperature of 25 below zero.  The fire is in an apartment building near the Wakefield Pharmacy.  There is a small building between the pharmacy and the apartment building.  Flames were through the roof and the apartment building is likely going to be a complete loss.  We don’t know how many apartments are in the building or if all the tenants were able to get out in time.  This is an on-going situation the main street in Wakefield is closed.
