LANSING, Mich. - A U.P. Representative is pushing a bill forward that would let bow hunters carry a pistol.  An amendment from Dave Prestin (R-108th State House District), was presented to the House Rules Committee yesterday morning. The goal of the bill is to let bow hunters carry a concealed pistol, only for self-defense.  The committee approved the language of the bill unanimously. It can now be presented on the House floor. If passed, the bill still needs a majority vote from the Senate and to be signed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-Michigan).
